The time frame seems to be a bit on the optimistic side, but could it be a prototype of the LM TR-X? That would certainly be very exciting although I would be surprised if it goes gray this soon. I’m betting it’s either this or a descendant of the Boeing Condor HALE program If this is the new resident at Tonopah I reckon there’s a fairy good chance the RQ-180 got cancelled. Which would also explain why we still haven’t seen the RQ-180, especially if the rumors are true that 7 airframes were built and it is operational out of South Edwards Afb. If that really is the case I think there would have been pictures of it or at least something would have leaked by now. I’m getting more and more sceptical about it’s existence as time passes.
