If you have a scanner tune it to 315.900MHz (R-2508 Low Level Training Area) and 291.600MHz (Joshua Control "Panamint"). Listen for references to "Point Juliet" or even the "Jedi transition". Mid to late morning and early afternoon seems to be the most activity, but that may vary. I hope someone more familiar with the area can chime in. The friendly folks at the nearby Panamint Springs Resort can probably give you current info. The resort is also a great place to stay or dine.
