Quite possibly! There were some isolates t-storms yesterday and I heard some chatter on the radio about some nasty storm cells to avoid. So far we had hardly any rain this monsoon season and the vegetation is very dry. A lightning strike can easily spark a fire as is the case in some of the CA fires.
