The "mystery" air field is the one in the center of the island. On GE imagery it is still a dirt strip. It was the original air field on the island, dating back to at least the 1930's. The recent aerial photos show that it has been paved and the nearby ramp and buildings have been improved. I was not able to dig up any information on the new use.
