Very interesting video indeed, thanks for the post. I can't even begin to imagine the precision needed to track an aircraft in motion from the ground with a laser beam.

Coincidentally I just posted scanner audio from a test in the airspace near TTR last night that may be related. There was talk about different modes referred to as "Tango", as well as interference.

May or may not be related: Around the same time the test began the Verizon wireless data in Rachel quit working for about an hour.
