Hadn't thought of CALSPAN in years. I interviewed with them my senior year of engineering school, they flew me up to Buffalo. I interviewed with 3 or 4 different departments, then met with their HR folks late in the day. One of them was detailed to give me the "Chamber of Commerce" routine, to sell living in Buffalo. She started her pitch with, "Do you like winter sports?".
