Airborne Fairchild AFB, Spokane 1140UTC and I lost tracking west abeam Tonopah at 1215UTC while at FL290 on SSR code 3502. Didn’t notice a SSR change to a range code before tracking stopped. Callsign on trackers changed from SIERA98 to blank sometime before Reno.
