Would it be worth asking in some of the FB groups maybe? I'm not too clued up on groups for Star Wars Canyon (It would be a bit of a hike for me ;-) ) but I found this one with a quick search. If they're anything like the Mach Loop groups, every one knows everyone else and will probably know someone who was there at the right time.
