I spent a great deal of time at "The Ranch" in the late 80s, a lot of it dodging satellites and Mojave greens. The directions how to get there were like something out of an old spy movie...get off the highway at exit xxx, turn xxx, drive xxx miles, then turn onto the gravel road xxx feet beyond the mailbox with xxx on it. Drive until you get to the fork, then take the xxx fork until you get to the cattle grid/gate.... I can't remember the hotel where we stayed, but it had a bar right out of a 60s Rat Pack movie. One night while there we met a group of guys who told us about this secret UFO base on a ranch nearby, and they invited us to go out to sky watch for reverse engineered saucers. They had the general location of the Ranch down pat, and a good overall description of the facility.
