The Janets may occasionally carry freight but for the most part materials are trucked in. The trucks do not use Groom Lake Road, and few use the back gate road. Instead, they come in from US-95 in the south, via the Mercury gate, Mercury highway and Gate 700. That makes it impossible to identify which trucks go to Groom, as opposed to deliveries to the NNSS. Most deliveries are handled at the large shipping and receiving facility along GL Rd. north of Area 51, before they enter the base. From there cleared personnel handles them.
