All good points. Now if we knew more about years with less projects/less funding; and how often hangers remain empty/without an aircraft... Plus your point about not knowing which base of origin a project comes from sometimes... Also, remember that a program that hasn't been revealed could have taken quite a bit of hanger space; with several aircraft being produced like the F-117. Two or more of these black projects out there would account for years/hanger space... All the what ifs fun to discuss.
