When Will The Next Bird of Prey Fly The Nest...

First post for a long time lurker since 2000. As someone with an interest in the black aircraft side of things, never had too much that I could add to the threads here.

It's been great to see the input from the likes of Smythers over the last year or so, someone whose posts always give an inclination of a deeper knowledge but knows that they can't say any more.

Gabe's recent jollies have given photos that, when it comes to Area 51, no one would have thought possible.

While those photos have taken us closer to the hangar doors, we're still as far away from knowing what lies behind many of them.

It's now eighteen years since Boeing revealed the Bird of Prey, four years after it's last flight.

It begs the question how much longer until we see a demonstrator or even a previously operational aircraft declassified. Obviously, the more you reveal, the more others know what to try and copy. However, there must be various projects of the 80s and 90s which will have been superseded since which could see the light of day?

From when the time of the F-117 and B-2 unveiling and talk others would soon follow, to the sightings of Chuck Clark and others posted here from the 90s, to patches and when mishaps like the MH-X Stealth Blackhawk crashed unveiling it's existence, there must be dozens of projects over the years still to see the light of day.

I just thought it would be interesting to see what everyone expects to see when the next bird leaves the nest of Groom and when.
