I think it’s a fun story, but there has never been any hard evidence that the airstrip exists. Like every story we hear related to places the general public can’t see or go to there may be some element of truth, but I have never found one. I just think if they went through the trouble to build such a place it would still be used even occasionally and we haven’t heard mention of even the rumor in decades
