If the hangars are fighter sized, but the scoot-n-hide is the largest structure on the base ... then those fighters either require a ton of infrastructure to prepare for flight or else that scoot-n-hide is designed to handle more than one of them at a time. My wild speculation would be maybe there's a swarm in those hangars. Autonomous wingmen? Large area ISR? Not sure, but if the hangars are for small aircraft but the pre-flight area is 3 acres, it's the only thing that adds up in my head.
