I am not very familiar with scanning in SoCal. Hopefully one of our members from the area can help out. Depending on where you are you may be able to pick up Edwards AFB frequencies (see attached) or China Lake.

You may also find frequencies on the RadioReference.com web site. But that site is mostly a paid service now. I quit contributing when they started charging a monthly fee for information given to them.

As a side note, most scanners have a function to search a frequency range for active frequencies and store/report them. Its often called "Search&Store" or similar. I found quite a few interesting frequencies around Rachel that way over the years.
