After I learned what goes on at A51 I thought it was unusual that anyone would openly speak about going there in a Lear. The left seat was a F4 pilot and also the QB for the Air Force football team as was the Eaton CEO, hence the recruitment while in the service. He could choose his aircraft and copilot so he chose the Lear and his RSO got the right side. This was before the base became "public" so maybe he felt there was no pressure for secrecy.
