I suspect that many folks here also read Tyler's "War Games" site, but in case some don't: Northrop is moving something very large, and very secret from their huge campus in Redondo Beach down to the marina, and onto a barge presumably headed to "San Diego". This is a first, Northrop has never had to close streets in Redondo Beach, nor has it ever transferred something onto a barge at the Redondo Beach Marina. Invariably the barge will be tracked, and we'll see if it goes to NAS North Island (as indicated in the press release), or immediately heads offshore to either San Nicolas Island or San Clemente Island ... the final destination of the barge won't take long to figure out as either one of those two island destinations would take the barge to the North of Santa Catalina Island, something which would become apparent almost immediately upon departure from the Redondo Beach marina parking lot.
