after the "event" we should discuss possibilities. there is more that can be done than just an audio scanner. we need a live 24/7 video stream of high quality thermal (FLIR) video of the skyline ovver the ranch as well. i would propose we set up a satellite subscription service to rachael The satellite feed would be overkill but we could share the service with the other residents of rachael and let them join the world. i agree that youtube would be a great choice for distribution of the data (audio/video). perhaps we could have a program that people could donate old scanners not in use for a few months access to the data - lots of frequencies to monitor. FLIR might donate a few cameras for the publicity. think out of the box AFTER the event...
