I've had a lot of time in/around the NKC-135--New Car one and two for the Navy and Big Crow for the Army. In their T&E role they can stay on-station for a long time. One of the more interesting techniques is a de-facto electronic stealth--the enemy radar see's nothing--ask the French; re a NATO test a few years ago!!

If this EB-52 is to use the same EW suite as the EA-6B, then I guess that means the ALQ-99. Another advantage of the B-52 is service celing.
