A runway extension would be more consistent with the amount of material hauled in than just re-doing the taxiway. I don't recall seeing any activity at the north end of the runway when I was there a couple months ago, but the view of the runway from Mount Diablo is not that good. A visit to Brainwash Butte may be in order.
