The comments I made about the fighter deployment are purely my own supposition, but given the lack of official identification of the units involved by the RAF I don't think I'm too far off the mark... but time will tell.

I'm not going to speculate as to what squadrons the Typhoons belong to, but if you look closely at the tail fins you can make an educated guess - based on the shape of the removed badge.

Of course, that only covers where the airframes came from, the pilots could come from another sqn.
