In the new July 2016 GE Satellite Image, you can see the newly installed equipment a few feet away from the main power substation at Area 51. From being to numerous sites in the past that require backup generators, it made me think that this is most likely what was installed at Area 51. I can't imagine a base of this magnitude not having backup diesel generators!
