I had my pilot's license as a teenager in the late 80s. I remember having a Las Vegas Sectional as a poster on my wall with the R-4808N side showing. I don't remember the first time I heard of Groom Lake but it had to be around then. I was pretty good in art class and I also remember drawing Aggressor stuff all over my school book covers (brown paper grocery bags then!) I wanted to be an Aggressor pilot, but then the weight of the world crushed my spirit! I was living in Valley Forge, PA then so nowhere near the great state of Nevada.
