They've been around since the '70's.....Known as the Short 330 in the civilian world. Basically a short-run airliner....I've flown in one once with Metro-Airlines (some years ago now)...The C-23a & C-23B were used by the USArmy and the USAF.....Still a few around with the Nat'l Guard, maybe NASA, etc.... Metro- Air jokingly called the 330 the "box the Otter's came in"......Metro had a bunch of Twin Otters too Good plane too as I understand.....The net says there are some for sale...........
