Sounds like Area 12. It is used for bio weapons training and research. I was able to visit Area 12 years ago during a NTS tour. It is a fairly good size complex with a chow hall, sleeping quarters and even a movie theater. We have a Google Earth plugin in our Maps section with labels for all relevant places in the NTS. Look for "Places of interest in the NTS" in the attached link. Click on each label to get more information.
