The image on the left is the current ASR at Mccarran Airport. The image on the right is an asr-9. I've seen the type of ASR pictured on the right at almost every major airport I have ever been to. I can't figure out what kind of model the ASR at Mcarran is. I say that because the Mccarran ASR is missing the large rotating dish on top. The Mccarran ASR looks like it only has a thin white beacon rotating on top. So is that in fact the ASR for KLAS Mccarran? I figured this would be a very appropriate place to ask this question.
