The MiG-29 in the image has not been digitally manipulated in any. Also, the aircraft shown here is the single MiG-29 requested by the USAF in 1991 from
Germany. It was shipped from Germany in April 1991.
The acquisition was not all that classified, even though security of the transfer was tight. This particular MiG-29 is ex-German 29+06 (ex-East German
Red 661). This photo was taken over the Nellis Range.
