St Louis County Police operates the 3 choppers and a fixed wind plane. The chopper was shot at first night of riot and several police cars were damaged by rocks before the looting started .

When they switch to the new radio system in St LOuis County if ever all except the TAC channels will be in the clear TAC will not.
