Hello. I came across this interesting articles this morning on CNN. I have already seen a documentary on the Skylon engine on Youtube. It is worth checking out for those of you who haven't seen it. This engine was invented ~30 years ago but until recently it was declassified by the British government. I wanted to write about it today because when people wonder what technology the US is really keeping secret this Skylon engine gives us a possible glimpse into the technological advances that were made in jet / ram-jet propulsion. The Skylon engine should help in the declassification of American technology on a similar level. It is just ashamed that we are only finding out about this technology now or letting it come to market finally. I'd like to hear what other people think about it.
