I have a story that I thought some of the people on this forum might be interested in. I live in the south of England and on 17th January 1991 (which also happened to be my birthday) I was just getting into my dads car when I heard an aeroplane and I looked up and an A10 Warthog flew right overhead. I have no idea where it was going as I live nowhere near any of the air bases that the USAF use in this country. Did any planes fly directly from the US to take part or did they mostly fly from bases nearer the war zone?
