Lone Star flight museum in Galveston is good. Space Center Houston is next to Nasa Johnson Space Center... they just transported NASA 905 [747 SCA] from ellington field to SCH a few weeks ago. When the display is finished they will have the Space shuttle mockup we got from KSC sitting on top of the 747 next to their parking lot. I got to watch them tear apart the 747 and transport it over to the SCH over 2 nights. Luckily I only live a few miles away and got lots of amazing pictures. I don't think I will ever see an aircraft that size being dragged 9 miles down back roads again. Also on the picture link, the last 3 pictures are of NASA WB-57 927... at 48000 feet above my house and in landing pattern right in front of my house.
