I'm wondering why, the Gov't would have a "privet" security company (EG&G Technical Services) handling the security for a base has important as the Groom Lake facility seems to be ?

It seems to me that an "ultra top secret" area such as Area-51 would have standard Military Police or even special troops handling the security for it.

Just curious ?
