Merry Christmas everyone! As I sit here in a run of the mill-road side hotel after eating a crummy IHOP dinner because my wife and I are traveling to the east coast. We have no gifts to give each other, I feel like this is a pretty lousy Christmas... Then I think that there are servicemen in some distant land that don't want us there and those we help desperately wanting to kill our troops. Yet they still stand their post. They Probably got a hot meal today being Christmas, hopefully not just an MRE and hopefully no bullets or IEDs aimed at them. Suddenly, I realize how good I got it and it could be a hell of a lot worse. My wife and I are in a dump but we are safe and sound. We are together and soon we will be with even more of our loved ones. All because our troops stand that post. I hope you are all as safe and sound as we are over here. Merry Christmas guys and I thank you all. God bless our soldiers, past present and future.
