Well, shows you what I know or don't know. It was ID as a F18 superhornet. I managed to get the plane at an angle where only one tail was visible in the photo. My bird identifical skills are pretty poor, but I remember F18 (two tails angled outward), F15 (two tails straight up), F16 (one tail), and A10 (two tails, butt ugly).
