SABRE Engine

The revolutionary SABRE engine is to receive more funding from the British Government to continue to develop this technology. The key factor in being able to make the engine work are cells inside the engine that can cool the extremely hot air encountered at high MACH speeds.

It is only the engine that is being developed it will still require an air frame to be designed to turn it into a cheap form of space and air travel.
