You might be surprised at how much information (photos, documents, maps, etc.) related to Area 51 was never actually classified. As far as Lockheed programs went, Kelly Johnson discouraged marking anything as secret because that just drew attention to its importance. These were official photos from the collection of Skunk Works foreman and logistics specialist Dorsey Kammerer.
