There are no big secrets about the GH. Here are some links that tell all about it. A big difference between it and the Predator/Reaper type is that the GH does not have full motion video. It takes still photos and and radar images and transmits them down. Some GHs have SIGINT packages that are much more capable than on smaller, lower flying aircraft. The greatest value the GH has is that it can go a long ways, get there quickly, and hang around a long time.

The Air Force decided that the GH Block 30 was too costly for its capabilities, and decided to rely on the Block 40's radar (all weather images). However, Congressmen don't want anything to happen that reduces money to their district, so they have ordered the AF to spend $152 million of your tax dollars for something it doesn't want.
