On a lighter note. A few months ago a did a talk at a conference regarding my work with drones for my field of research. I had some of my equipment setup in a booth after the talk so I could answer questions. I had one person approach me and ask how low one of these could fly (in this case he was referring to a helicopter type airframe). I found this to be an odd question as usually people want to know how high they can fly. After inquiring a bit further to understand the basis for his question I found out he was with the local building code enforcement department and was wondering if they could use it to find code violations. At that point I answered his original question with "you'll need to stay higher than the range of a 12 gauge shotgun". ;)
