OpSec is the Holy Grail of Special Ops and people that don't keep that in mind, even talking about already published items, should not do so. We have recently seen very public violations of this, very egregious because it was apparently for the purpose of (as we saw recently on 60 Minutes) self-aggrandizement and self-promotion.

The media is made of slime, comprised mostly of failed actors and actresses still looking for time in front of the cameras, not dedicated to the truth, honesty or being fair, just camera time. We don't have to follow suit or emulate their poor, fame-seeking example.

We don't need to help our enemies by passing on info that could help them, or hurt our warfighters, especially our specops warriors. Where and how they go is one of the most closely guarded secrets we have, as they generally are in small numbers with limited support so without secrecy they are not able to sustain ANY operation that starts off compromised.

Like I have heard before when someone starts to talk about ANY specops information openly. STFU.

You are more than welcome here, but please just keep that in mind.
