Yep, a crash and burn at Nellis (from Wikipedia)....
"On 28 August 2009, a USAF E-3C, 83-0008, was severely damaged[39] while landing at Nellis Air Force Base, after experiencing a nose-wheel failure. The failure resulted in a fire that caused a reported US$100 million in damage.[40] The accident was determined to be pilot error.[41]"

Runways will occasionally be closed for maintenance....When I was there the inside runway was not used as a landing strip.....Often served as a taxiway or a overflow parking ramp(Nellis was very popular place on the week ends).....Too the afterburners were much louder and lit off with a bang back then, so an early form of noise abatement was to use outside runway.....
