as a general rule i would agree on your two year comment. i don't think we should wait this year however. rumor, good sources, indicate to me that quite a bit of activity has been occurring at the site over the last year. there were a few years recently that had little activity but the fun stuff has gone more black since the money has dried up. if the admin work of obtaining the image is the problem i would volunteer to do all of that work. i think the real question is if we can easily raise enough money to do this. perhaps we should look into a different approach to the image access - a by subscription approach which could put more regularity into the funding and timing of updates. just a thought.
