From the Nellis PA site: Release No. 005-02 AIR FORCE FLIES LIVE FIREPOWER DEMONSTRATION NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. - The U.S. Air Force will conduct a 45-minute live firepower demonstration on the Nevada Test and Training Range near Indian Springs, Nev., from 12:45 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday. Some people in the Las Vegas valley or near Indian Springs, Nev., may hear noise, as several hundred live munitions will be dropped on range targets from various military aircraft. There is no danger to the public. The Air Force hold firepower demonstrations four times yearly. The demonstrations The live firepower demonstrations show how the Air Force supports joint and multinational operations. The next Air Force firepower demonstration is scheduled for April 26.
