Just a heads up...this morning at approx 0750 heading west on a mountain bike in the Apple Valley CA area saw a bright large green object heading downwards at a 45* degree angle , n/n west of me.It had a white long trail. I would guess that is was many miles away, out towards Barstow or Edwards , perhaps farther. But I seemed to remember it coming across the sky almost near the Repeater mountain off the 15.
I also observed that the sun was reflecting off the "top" of the object , as it appeared to shine as metal.
I watched for approx 05 to 07 seconds and the as it neared the ground it disappeared. No smoke , no haze, no sparks or flame, just gone.
Just putting it out there, any ideas. The metallic shine, or sun reflection, surrounded by green, is what kind of bothers me.......
