Don't mean to be a spoilsport, but my house that I've had since the 70's is about 28 miles as the crow flies from the runways at Beale.....Just lucky I guess, but have had many occassions to see both SR-71's and U-2's fly around the area.....Still see U-2's sometimes but the SR-71's were definitely a special treat !!!.....Yeah, I miss them too !!!......E
