You may be reading airnav a little wrong. I was there after the F-117A's left, no runway extension was built. The airfield description may have changed on the chart to reflect a 10,000 ft runway with 1000 foot over runs at each end (12000 ft) all together. You're right there was no need and nobody moved in til after I left. Last I heard it was the RQ-170 with the 30th RS. I've not seen any extensions on GE or new hangers there as you stated? What new hangers?
