For me that reason alone is one of the best parts of Area 51. People can believe whatever they want and dream about whatever craft they want! It isn't like we are going to be let in any time soon to see it for ourselves. I look at Area 51 as much more than a Top Secret research and development instillation. It allows every person to come up with there own beliefs, dreams, and reasons for being obsessed! I love to discuss (elswhere) all of the folklore surrounding Area 51. I am former military (USMC) and I am interested in the real reason the base is there, but it is the fact that I can't get in there to see it that allows me to dream about whatever I want! I have always said, "The saddest day would be the day that I was allowed into Area 51 to see for myself what was there". Once that happens, all the mystery would be GONE!
