The three "missing" serials were assigned to the AF-12 (YF-12A) airframes: 60-6934 YF-12A Damaged beyond economic repair in a landing accident at Edwards AFB on 14 August 1966. 60-6935 YF-12A National Museum of the U.S. Air Force, Wright-Patterson AFB, Dayton, Ohio 60-6936 YF-12A Lost, 24 June 1971 at Edwards AFB
