Funny!........... 2nd video.....When the so called Roswell incident occurred (1947), IIRC, Groom AFB hadn't even been established... Yeah!, IIRC Avro developed a disk craft called the Avrocar.....Haven't read the article, so not sure what the problems were....... The most fascinating is the hummingbird drone.....This one just knocks me out........
That was around 1954 or 1955 for U-2 testing.......
I think there have in recent years more successful lift craft have been developed using 3 or 4 lift fans or dual stacked fans turning in opposite directions.....These are mostly drones I think
