This may be crazy, but am planning to head out to the desert the morning of the 16th to watch/photograph the Leonid meteor shower. Wondering if anyone will be out in Rachel doing the same, would be neat to be that deep into the desert for it!

Side note, will also be attending Aviation Nation, most likely Friday arrival/practice day as well. Am torn between Cheyenne and LVMS for Friday though, any thoughts on which spots would be better? Cheyenne was great in 2009 due to the direction of the wind, am I right to assume that's the only real factor in choosing where to go?
