I'm not sure if you are asking where to watch plant 42. You get there on Avenue P, which I remember by thinking "Palmdale". Avenue P takes you to the Black Bird Park and Plant 42, roughly the corner of Avenue P and 25th. However, the plane observation spot is a bit further north, something like the Sierra Highway and Avenue M or Avenue N.
